For most of us, home is where our most cherished memories come to life. It’s where we feel most at ease, where we can truly be ourselves, and where our most genuine moments with loved ones unfold. That’s what makes your home the perfect place for meaningful family photos.
For the D. family in Scotch Plains, their home is not only filled with warmth and memories but is also a testament to hard work and vision. Lauren and Sergio spent months creating their dream farmhouse-inspired home, meticulously designing each detail with intention. From the maple-stained pillars on the front porch to carefully chosen furnishings, each element tells a story.
Unique Backdrops that Reflect Your Family’s Personality and Style
When I photograph families in their own home, I don’t just show up and snap pictures. I connect with kids, make silly jokes to bring out genuine smiles, and work to put everyone at ease. Behind the scenes, I’m constantly considering how to capture your family in ways that feel true and meaningful.
I’m looking for magical light and finding moments that reveal your family’s dynamic. I’m reading the energy of each person: who might need a little more encouragement, or who’s playful and full of spirit. I’m also adjusting hands, smoothing clothing, brushing back stray hairs, and fine-tuning details to ensure each shot beautifully captures the heart of your family.
Spending time with the D. family and their two adorable little boys at their Scotch Plains, NJ home was a joy. I love working with families who embrace the creative process, letting go of expectations and simply enjoying their moments together. It results in the most meaningful family photos.
