New Jersey has so many gorgeous gardens that offer stunning settings for a maternity photoshoot. One favorite location for families and couples alike is Cross Estate Gardens. Set among the hills of Somerset County, Cross Estate Gardens, which is located in Bernardsville, feels like a secret garden you want to keep all to yourself.
The wisteria-covered pergola that blooms in spring is stunning. Other features include formal flower gardens, stone steps and the former Cross Estate.
maternity SESSION QUESTIONS
A: The best time to take maternity photos is typically when you're between 28 and 34 weeks pregnant, but sometimes varies from woman to woman. I recommend booking your session one month ahead so you have time to prepare.
A: Maternity sessions take place outdoors or in the comfort of your home. I have several go-to locations throughout Union, Somerset and Morris County that offer lovely settings for maternity pictures without crowds of people.
A: After booking your session, I'll send you styling tips and suggestions for what to wear, including an outfit inspiration. You can also find lots of suggestions on my Blog. And, I'm happy to create a style inspiration board just for you!
